Group EMDR

Make it stand out.

That’s right! While it has traditionally been done individually, EMDR can also be done in a group setting!

This is very effective and can be very helpful when the group has experienced or witnessed a shared traumatic or stressful event or just similar events.

But it can be equally effective and helpful even if each group member’s individual trauma is separate!

Either way, being a part of each other’s healing can be powerful for all involved.

Don’t worry, no group member is ever asked to share anything they don’t want to, and group members never share any details of their trauma with others in the group—Only positive resources are shared, if the individual wishes to share it.

I’ve completed specialty training in providing EMDR therapy in a group setting and am excited to provide EMDR in this way. Please contact me if you have an idea for a group that could benefit from doing EMDR together.
